What Is Hypnosis

Hypnosis misconception.
Some people think that you can make people do things they do not want to do,
which is very far from the truth. Hypnosis is a form of relaxation, and deep Hypnosis, is much like a dream state, or trance. You are very aware what is happening to you, your senses become more alive.

Your unconscious is more suggestible to ideas and thoughts, but if you were not a killer before,
then it is impossible through Hypnosis to convince you to kill.

Your unconscious mind wants what is best for you, there for, it will keep you from harm.
Through our experiences, we establish a positive or negative impression of those experiences.
What our mind does, is keep an image or movie of those impressions, but because there is so much information, of that incident that, we filter, associate, and delete what we perceive to be important and unimportant, about that incident. That is why if several people were to see the same accident you would get as many stories, as there were observers of that accident, because we all process that information differently. It is like when, we draw a map, we can not represent that space accurately on a page because to be accurate, it would first have to be life size, and contain the buildings, streets, trees, water, and everything else that would accurately depict that area.
So just like our mind we make a representation of that area or incident and, delete and filter and associate that information. With that said, it is the representations of the experiences we have that act, to run how we behave.

Lets say every time we saw Bill, he hit us on the head with a bat. Would we then come to the conclusion that every everyone named Bill was going to hurt us, or that anyone with a bat will hit us, maybe not, but it that kind of association and filtering, we use to establish our responses to other situations.It is not just images that we store that set as a trigger for, our responses, it is smell, sound, taste, touch.

Here is another example, our lover left while there was a particular song on the radio,
and now even years later we are sad when we hear that song.

The point of this story is that through Hypnosis, we can change our perceptions of these incidents,
to provide us with a more positive, useful response for those triggers. Wouldn't it be more useful to feel happy instead of sad when we heard that song?

Depending on how receptive you are to Hypnosis we can in one or two sessions, eliminate those negative behaviors, that are holding you back. If you really enjoy smoking then chances are you will not quit, but if you say I know this is bad for me,and it is time for a change then,
